Synopsis: 

A soul-searching story about three friends who have different conditions of deafness: Wolf embraces sign language with confidence while tackling realistic obstacles in his everyday life; Alan is Wolf's cheerful best friend and an advocate of diverse modes of communication between the deaf and the hearing communities; Sophie struggles with oral language and continuously strives to be seen as "normal". The trio embarks on their self-discovering journeys with moments of pain and realisation. Sincere and empathetic, Adam Wong's latest drama feature sensitively questions what social norms and identity mean for us.

多倫多的映後分享環節，將同時以視像形式接通加拿大（溫哥華）首映禮觀眾！而電影中小演員鄭進希亦會現場出席溫哥華首映禮這個映前分享環節！

Director Adam Wong of The Way We Talk will attend the Canadian (Toronto) premiere in person, where he’ll meet the audience after the screening and share insights into the creative process and behind-the-scenes stories. The film’s three lead actors — Neo Yau, Chung Suet Ying, and Marco Ng — will also join the post-screening discussion virtually. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided for the sharing session. The Toronto post-screening talk will also be live-streamed to audiences at the Vancouver premiere, connecting both cities in real-time! Additionally, young actor Nathan Cheng, who appears in the film, will attend the Vancouver premiere in person for the pre-screening session as well.
